 Description and Applications
An agglomerated aluminate-rutile type flux for submerged arc welding.
SUBTECH - AR 33 is designed for welding of structural steels, pipe steels
and high tensile strength steels. It provides pores free welds and good
appearance weld beads, easy removable slag.
It can be used for high speed multi-wire submerged arc welding
applications. Typical application areas are the longitudinal welds and
circumferential welds of pressure vessels and large-diameter pipes the
flux has to re bake between 300-350ºC before welding.
